- hiking around an ozark forest (explore a creek, spring, quarry, etc)

What's included in the $48/night?

- your campsite (each site has a table & 4 chairs)

- fire pit

- UNLIMITED firewood  - you can also grab as much as you want from the forest, there is plenty

- lake views

- If you want to book the entire area to yourself so you don't have to worry about other campers, message me for availability.

This property is a 40-min back-road drive to Branson. TONS of stuff to do there including Silver Dollar City (Amusement Park), Comedy Shows, Outlets, Zip Lining, Safari, Zoo, Water Parks, etc.

NOTE: Please arrive with a 4WD vehicle if possible (dirt/gravel roads)

2nd NOTE: 1 site has room for up to 6 people (the idea is a family with up to 4 kids can camp with 1 site, not 2 families with 1 kid each or 3 couples, etc). You can fit 1 tent and 1 car in your single site.  If you have more than 1 tent or more than 1 car, just book 2 sites. This helps ensure groups are spread out enough and there are not a ton of tents on top of each other which will make everyone's experience better. Thanks for understanding.

Omg, we loved this place! It's super quiet with no other campers. The lake is quiet and so pretty. It was a little like being on an undiscovered planet. Perfect for a little fall getaway. The host was so nice and helped us get to the site - even after dark. And when my friend left his glasses at the site, she mailed them back! This would be SUCH a fun place to bring a group. The sites are kind of close to eachother, but the trees and tables and proximity to the lake make it amazing, regardless. And the compost bathroom was awesome. Well-kept, just close enough to the sites, and it even had a little shower and sink. We loved it. Hopefully we'll be back next year to do a little kayaking!
A note: the roads out to the site are pretty rough. My friend made it through in his Flex but it was a close one! My Jeep handled it no problem. You need something a little bit off the ground.

Each site has a good amount of space. The tables are so cute and some of them have benches that are built out of stumps! The firepits are a great size and easy to maintain. And they had tons of firewood onsite.

Beautiful area. Lovely private campground. The water is a semi-short hike down the hill. Be prepared for the ride through the woods to get there. Very rugged. Hostess was very nice and had excellent communication. I appreciated my time here.

Our favorite trip so far. The host has a huge area of land with some amazing views. We had the entire area to ourselves, although it may have been a little close to others had the sites been full. Even so, it was wonderful. Full toilet facility (shower was cold-only) and gorgeous surroundings. Lots of wildlife tracks and sounds, so manage your food storage. Great hiking, bushcraft, and fishing. Ask the host to send you a map to fully explore the huge area (and private beach).

The owners were very sweet and accommodating. The site is gorgeous. Lots of fun places to explore in the woods nearby! Campsites are closer than we expected but further apart than a traditional campground (felt covid-19 safe). Bathroom and shower facilities were charming and clean. This place is definitely loved and cared for!

We had a great time! The camp site was very clean and the owners were very nice. Just a few minutes walk to the lake front, we caught a good size bass there! They had firewood ready and kept the bathrooms clean for everyone. We will probably be coming back for more fun.

Very kind host! We got to the site after dark and she led us to our camp site by driving ahead of us which we appreciated! She offered us a table and chairs too which was great. The bathroom is super clean and convenient. We brought our paddle boards and enjoyed the cove. It was a great experience.

If you’re looking for a secluded and off the beaten path camp spot, this is the one! Booked on a weekday so we were the only ones there which was awesome because we had the swimming area, bathroom, and pretty much the entire peninsula to ourselves!

Great tip to book mid-week, we are pretty slow then so you usually will get the whole place! Hope to see you two again!
