Me and my family had a wonderful time on our trip here we stayed at tent campsite 2 it was a beautiful and private little spot. Would definetly like to camp here again someday.
Beautiful, quaint campground!
Staying here was amazing! Our campsite had lights hung to make the night time a little easier. The chicken feed bins were super creative and very cute! 1 had laundry, 1 had a shower/bathroom combo and I believe the other 2 were bathrooms as well. Finished very well with heating and air. Just a very awesome environment and I will DEFINITELY be staying here again. Forgot to mention John was a great host as well!
Myself, my wife, my 5 year old and two dogs had an absolutely fantastic Memorial Day weekend here! Tent site one was tucked away, perfect place for a nice fire at night with family. Clean, simple facilities for shower and toilet. At the top of the hill is a nice field that is kept up with open skies. The property is not a far jump from Cheaha State Park and the Talladega Nationa Forest. John was very nice and accommodating as a host.
Only thing to watch is ticks. We found some on my dog after playing in the woods one evening. We didn’t find any more after that, so I think as long as you stay on manicured areas you should be absolutely fine.
Would definitely recommend!
Must stay tent site 2
Our stay at Choccocck Creek Tent Campground was phenomenal. John personally introduced himself. The silo restrooms and shower facilities are really a neat feature. The toilets and sink are exceptionally clean. The site we stayed at Tent Site 2, and it was set back and it truly felt like we were in our personal little oasis. The ferry lights and firepit at night were a really nice touch. We will definitely be back, and we will be back often. So glad we found this little spot.
AMAZING. John was very friendly and nice! It was raining and storming and we just booked the camp and he messaged us saying when we come in we’re able to set up camp in the barn so we’re safe!! So kind! We met with him the next working and he was so friendly! Will stay here again!! bathroom and shower was so clean and fresh!!
1000% the cutest stay. John worked really hard to make sure he said hi when we got there and bye when we left. He runs it himself and works hard on improvements.
GreAt shower and bathroom. He has a bulletin board where he writes welcome
To families that are staying! Small and perfect!
