If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Great campgound and the owner was great. The only down side was stay alert or you could miss the sign and the water pressure was low, sometimes below 20 psi. But we would stay there again.
Stayed here for race weekend at Talladega. It was exactly what I was looking for. Quiet and low key. Wanted to avoid the loud parties. Had power and water. Bathrooms and shower were nice and clean. Would stay here again.
At first, I was a little concerned. However, it was probably because we (my friend and I)got there at night. It was a very last minute trip and booking. It came across a little scary in the dark. I ended up being so glad we stayed there! It had been a while since I had been camping(tent). Since it was so last minute, we forgot a few things. John was very welcoming and polite. He helped us get our campsite together. We had forgotten an air pump. He let us use his and even helped pump our air mattresses. He got our fire started for us and let us use a light. He was so nice and helpful!! The campround waa very peaceful for the most part. Just make sure you have headphones or sound machine at night to block out the coyotes howling in the distance(never saw one, just heard them). The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. I thought it was a great place and would definitely stay there again!
Perfect rv retreat
One word... PERFECT! I rolled in after a long days drive to the spot John recommended as being ideal for me. He was right! John has put major effort into his campground and it shows. The shower/toilet sheds were BRILLIANT. John repurposed old silos from the farm below. He even fully insulted them. The hot shower was GREATLY APPRECIATED! I’m not sure when I’ll be back...but I will be! Bravo John.
An oasis just off the interstate
What a fantastic campsite! Only a few miles off the Interstate, but you feel like you’re tucked out in the countryside. John has created an amazing campground with level campsites, full hook ups and impressive and innovative restrooms and laundry facilities. We’ll be sure to stop in again when we’re passing through his neighborhood.
Wonderful stay on a quaint and peaceful farm. Exceptional service from the host—very communicative and accommodating. Definitely plan to stop here again in future, but for more than one night next time!
