Plenty of open space for a tent, RV, camper, etc. City Water available. Leads to a trail head. Seven miles to a small town (Red Bay, AL) that has restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Trail hiking is allowed. Horses are allowed temporarily but there is no fenced in area for them to graze.

Nice private area with lots of space. Secluded location, not too close to many stores or gas stations, but we loved the place.

Old Burleson is a bare bones campsite, great for passing through as long as you have appropriate camp gear! Make sure to bring a trash bag to pack it out and tp since there's no restroom!
