Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Perfect place to pitch a tent in the rual mountain area, you can see the ocean on a clear day and extremely beautiful sunsets! Hiking down the canyon to the site.
Right off Viejas grade rd mountain bike road. Perfect for serious bikers, dirt bikers and off road lovers. 15 min from Viejas casino off the 8 freeway there’s an amazing view of fireworks at the Viejas casino when they have them. I will try and have dates and times in the future. But usually every holiday! About 15 min from descanso gas station , post office, Mexican restaurant and family diner. The property does get extreme winds which i will have to cancel any trips in the event for safety.
You will then have to hike down to the campsite where it’s rocky and about a 1/4 mile down from where you can park. So make sure you're ready to hike. Extremely rural area with bushes , cactus, bugs, snakes , mountain lions , deer, coyotes, bobcats, fox, skunk and more! There’s a family of 5 deer on the property I see almost every morning.
