Wildflower Wanderlust

My hopes are that visitors enjoy all aspects of my property as much as I do. Learn more about this land: You can choose to set up camp in the meadow or in the open field area. Regardless of where you set up camp, you can enjoy your morning coffee in the secret flower garden or a nightcap next to the fire under the grape covered arbor while watching the night stars. Feeling adventurous? The Ahnapee trail is an old railroad trail that is now a hiking and biking path that extends from Sturgeon Bay to Kewaunee. The Ahnapee Trail is 1.5 miles down the road. The best camping near Potawatomi State Park guide

Overview

About

Acrophobics beware! You might not want to climb the 75-foot observation tower in Potawatomi State Park! But for the rest of us, this massive tower peaks above the canopy of the trees and gives stellar views across Green Bay. Where else can you climb 75 feet in the middle of the forest?! But if you’d rather keep your two feet on the ground, there are plenty of activities for you at Potawatomi State Park, too. For all day fun-in-the-sun, rent a kayak or canoe and hit the waters of Green Bay where you can observe Scuba divers and water skiers. Join in the elevated (or not) fun!

When to go

The best times to visit Potawatomi State Park are during the spring and fall when the weather is mild and the natural scenery is at its peak. Winters can be harsh, with some areas less accessible, but provide a quiet, snowy retreat for those seeking solitude.
