We are a family run farm, in the Midwest WA, growing wheat, canola, lupins and chickpeas, with sheep and cattle. There is an option for fit campers to climb Mt Budd, which is on our property, and we've also got lots of hilly country great for bush walking and working up an appetite for a campfire dinner. We are on the Darling fault line so have a lot of beautiful breakaway country. You must be totally a self contained travellers with your own camping toilet and everything you need. Dogs welcome on a leash (sheep property). Campfires are permitted when restrictions aren't in place, wood supplied, please let Anne know if you require wood. Mingenew is 23 klms west of the farm, you will find fuel 24 hr, IGA, bakery. Things to see in town Museum open in tourist season, walk trail round town, CBH grain storage facility, children play park and skateboard area, the Coalseam National Park is a 20klm drive from town. Tourist centre open August-September. Please ensure you have a Telstra mobile phone, so we can stay in touch. It’s the only provider that works out here. We do not allow free range of the farm.Mt Budd Hill Paddock camp offers beautiful trees and great views all far from the crowds and madness. You can enjoy walking around the farm track and taking in the wildlife and flora.  Enjoy the stunning sunsets, the clear night skies and amazing star gazing. It is a beautiful location to relax and immerse yourself in the natural environment and wildlife.  Campfires are welcome in the right season and firewood can be supplied, please respect any fire restrictions in place during your stay. Visit nearby Depot Hill, a wonderful spot for an abundance of wildflowers, native animals and a picnic on the banks of the river under the gum trees. Campers must be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Dogs welcome on a leash.

Relaxing Country Farm Stay
Anne was a great host. Met us on the road, drove us to the site. Nice and flat, overlooking the surrounding farmlands. Nice walks around the farm and easy drives to the nearby towns. Just missed the wildflowers, warm through the day but still cool when sleeping at night.

Mt Budd Hill Paddock
Lovely, quiet stop amongst nature for a couple of nights. We camped by the dam as it was mid to high 30s. Our paddle boards were a beautiful relaxing addition to float around on the dam. Stunning wildlife. Thanks Anne 😊

10 outta 10 from this happy camper
Well what a lovely start to our four week adventure north. Anne was a fantastic host being very helpful and obliging. The elevated site we chose had magnificent panoramic views towards Mingenew. Although we didn't have direct views of Mt Budd itself a short 200mtr stroll sorted that. Site access was easy via 2WD and our camper trailer. An abundance of firewood was available with just a small chainsaw needed to make it manageable. I have nothing bad to say about this site or the host but just one small forewarning, the winds can be ferocious! 10 outta 10
