Beautiful spot on the Shenandoah River....you will see eagles, deer, ospreys, beaver and numerous other critters. Great fishing, boating and swimming not to mention the views. Lots of local cuisine and pubs. Flea markets and BBQ on the roadside and for those who dare the casino and horse racing!!!... Each site has a picnic table, firepit and pavilion canopies for creature comfort. We do have firewood available along with boat rentals. All boat rentals and firewood are cash only. Please limit glass containers.

Site 4 - Shenandoah Adventures
Dutch was super friendly and gave us good tips for the area. There’s a bald eagle that lives across the river so keep an eye out for it

Great experience!
It was an amazing experience for my kids! They enjoyed the river and all the experience. Dutch is a great host always attentive to all our needs. We will return soon!

Great spot by the river!
This was a fantastic place to camp. The sites were clean and well-provisioned with fire pits and covered tables, the setting by the river was beautiful, and the sites were spaced out enough for adequate privacy. The hosts were also FANTASTIC. Super nice and great communication. Would recommend.

Birders Paradise
We had a lovely stay on the river with all the birds! The site was spotless and had everything you needed. Dutch and his wife were great.

Site 2 - Shenandoah Adventures
Primo and Peaceful Location
The views were beautiful, right on the Shenandoah, with abundant wildlife and plenty of opportunities for fun and relaxation on the river. The additional canopy tent over the picnic table is an excellent idea and great touch. Most importantly, Dutch and his wife made us feel welcome and always offered a line of communication. We will definitely go again!

Dutch is hospitable and responsive. Beautiful and quiet spot right along the river. Plenty of firewood. Looking forward to staying there again!
