Set in rocky terrain, with forested areas along its namesake, Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park is a 235-acre inland waters camping park set in between the mountains and Lake Chelan, which was carved out by two glacial gladiators duking it out thousands of years ago. Known for its rubberneck-inducing scenery and water activities (boating, fishing, scuba diving and waterskiing), the park also draws visitors for bird watching, hiking and mountain biking. Don’t pass up the opportunity to shout out “I’m on a boat!” by hopping the ferry that’ll take you to a roadless community at the head of Lake Chelan.
