This small 25-acre ranch is just in the early stages of development. We are repairing fences and watering. I just added solar power. The property has a 1200 foot grass runway with an airplane hangar, so you could fly it if you have a STOHL airplane. The irrigation pond/pond yard area is currently available for camping. Many wineries and outdoor activities available in the area. Children can help feed or water the pigs and perhaps the chickens. We offer 5 campsites as well as an in-ground greenhouse as listings. Guests love staying with us: "The pond at Willow Barn Ranch was picturesque. Show us around the property. It's very quiet and peaceful, and you can tell you take good care of your land. Site 11 Behind Hill Primitive

Kenton’s place was great. A nice spot to pitch a tent, water, bathroom, picnic table and a cheery visit from some piglets

site 8 In Ground Greenhouse

Overall we had a good experience. However, we shared our second night with a large wedding. One toilet for 50+ people is not ideal and the music was excessively loud. Additionally, there were children looking in our windows! If we had gone on a non-wedding weekend, it would have been fine.

Nice Quiet Ranch off I-82

We enjoyed our stay at Willow Barn Ranch., which is conveniently located off Hiway 82 about 2 1/2 miles west of the town of Wapato. We were there in late March so we were the only Hip-Campers there. Owner -Kenton- was very helpful & let us choose where to park our 25’ trailer. There is electricity & water at the RV site. Nice long gravel driveway can accommodate a large rig. Site was very level & we did not need to unhook from the truck. Out-house type toilet ( we did not use it). We parked next to the pond with looking out over the valley. This is a ranch/farm so there are chickens, baby chickens, & cute piglets & adult pigs all of which were very entertaining. Very quiet & private location with views of the hills in the distance. We recommend the RV site as we enjoyed it here & hope to come back. Thanks Kenton!
