Play all day. Stay all night. At least, thatâs what we would do at Mayfield Lake Park! In terms of play, thereâs lot to do: badminton, horseshoes, swimming, water-skiing, bass fishing and sunbathing. Take a little walk to Mayfield and Mossyrock dams or if you havenât had your fill of fish, head over to the salmon and trout hatcheries. In terms of stay, youâll be plenty cozy here. The campground is on the smaller side, but that just means more peace-and-quiet. Yesssss! If you are into those big, loud family reunions, thereâs an awesome group camp tucked away from the others with a private kitchen and personal bathroom. Mayfield Lakeâs immaculate reputation is met by the convenience of being located about halfway between Portland, OR and Seattle, WAâperfect for meetinâ up with your friends and playinâ the day away!
The prime time to visit Mayfield Lake Park is between April 15 and Oct. 15, when the campgrounds are open and the park is full of life. Summer months offer the warmest weather for water activities. Avoid the off-season from Oct. 16 to April 14, as the campgrounds are closed and services are limited.
