We’ve had this property in my family for over 30 years and it is been a potato farm, a cattle ranch, and a Lumber-mill site. We built our cabin from scratch from 47 tamarack large trees on our property. This is a very rustic and remote log cabin situated on 120 acres that is adjacent to DNR state land. It is primarily forested and teaming with wildlife. The cabin is about 4000 feet in elevation on Lemonasky Mountain just 1 mile below and an historical fire look-out. It is perched on top of a beautiful large meadow with a 50 mile view that has wonderful sunrises and sunsets. This is a very rustic and remote log cabin situated on 120 acres that is adjacent to DNR state land. Meadow Cabin
Yet another peaceful weekend full of solitude and joyful moments at the Toby Mill cabin: watching coyotes napping in the sun splashed meadow, spending evenings by the warm fire, and marveling at the view. This cabin feels like home!

Peaceful Paradise
Highlights included cooking on the fireplace and reading books in the delightful rustic cabin that had some of the most beautiful views we’ve seen. Also hiking up to the Lookout was well worth the effort, with incredible 360 degree views as far as the eye could see, not to mention playing in the snow at the top too. The hosts were friendly and helpful as well. We definitely will come back again.

Meadow Cabin
I will definitely be back!
I had the good fortune to spend a month at Meadow Cabin this fall to unplug and unwind. This was the perfect place to do just that. One of the first things you'll notice is how incredibly peaceful and quiet it is. I've never experienced such long stretches without human-made sounds. It was good for the soul. But the star of this show has to be the view! I spent the first week of my stay glued to the front porch taking it all in. It was mesmerizing. Clouds would shroud the valley below, while beams of sunlight would cast shadows on the mountain peaks some fifty miles away. The scene was ever-changing . Simply awesome. The cabin sits on about 200 acres of land owned by the family that abuts many more acres of public lands, so there are plenty of hiking opportunities, each with their own unique scenic reward. In the "Cabin Book "(where visitors share their experiences at the cabin), nearly every entry includes a resonant experience with nature or having gained some insight about life during their stay. Judging by the year's worth of such entries, I'm not the only one who found it to be a truly special place. The cabin itself was simple but quite comfortable. It has hot running water, electricity and a wood stove to keep you warm. The kitchen has just about everything you need to make tasty meals. And there's even a very cool vintage toaster that makes the best toast! I found working with Joy to be delightful. She was welcoming and responsive and invited suggestions about how she might make the cabin even better. It's obvious that this place is near to her heart -- it's not just some investment property. In fact it's apparently the culmination of a dream she had to build her own log cabin on the site. You can see all the care and hard work that went into it. I am so grateful that she is sharing her dream place with others. I will definitely be back!

Meadow Cabin
This is a really well equipped cabin and we had no trouble settling in. The electricity worked perfectly, and the drinking water/plumbing situation caused no troubles. It's so nice to see the cows roam the meadow, sometimes they wander right past the deck! We took advantage of the morning breeze to fly a kite and it was magical. Joy and David are so nice, and it's clear they care a lot about making your stay enjoyable. We'd love to go back and see the landscape in a different season.

Meadow Cabin
Staying on Joy and David's land was wonderful! From grazing the pasture with the cattle to kicking back on the porch of the cabin, we had a fantastic time relaxing on the homestead for a few days. Highly recommended!
