Boat on into this beautiful area on Harstine Island in South Puget Sound. Yes, you need a boat to reach most parts of this marine camping park. Fish off the saltwater shoreline, or let the constant chatter of birds sing you to sleep in a hammock.
Take advantage of a ball field or volleyball court to get your game on. Cast your line along the saltwater shoreline to outwit any passing fish. Use Harstine Island as a home base for your boat-based adventures in the sound. Water ski, swim, or scuba dive along the shore.
Discover plenty of nature here, especially among the thick pine forest. Bring your binoculars to see what kinds of birds call out to you. If you're lucky, you may spot a bald eagle soaring over Puget Sound. Utilize the 1-mile hiking or biking trail to get around the forest.

1 campground in Jarrell Cove State Park
With 22 tent campsites, you’ll feel like this place is all yours. Sites are split between the area near the shoreline and the grassy center of the park, only site 11 is ADA accessible, sites 1,3,4 and 8 are reservable, and the rest are a fair game! Also fair game are the kitchen shelters, which are available to reserve.
