We had a great stay at hall homestead. The site was very private and was nice to escape the crowds back at our campsite. We also enjoyed the nearby the creek which was a lovely spot

Thank you Ariel for a wonderful stay at Hall Homstead! This is lovely secluded camp site in a wooded spot. Set back from Highway 20 there is minimal traffic noise and easy access to hiking trails and a creek. Very well maintained, with a barbecue, fire pit and bench set. Just a short walk from where we parked and we were provided with a handy trolley to cart our stuff. A beautiful, tranquil spot - highly recommend.

We had a great time at Hall Homestead as it was very peaceful and private. Ariel greeted us when we got there and we were left on our own all weekend. Overall a nice site within a short drive to many trails. From the description we thought the creek was a closer than it actually was so we only went down there once. We will definitely consider staying there again.

We reserved at Hall Homestead since we were impressed by their attention to COVID-19 concerns and had addressed them by only having one site available. It would be a great site for early starts on local hikes, but our family was content to just play by the creek and read books in hammocks. The portapotty as JUST cleaned and was probably the cleanest one I have ever been in in my whole life. The trick for the water spigot is to turn it all the way on, and stand to the side (you're welcome!!). The tent area was a bit of a squeeze for our ridiculously oversized tent but it worked fine, and normal-sized tents will fit absolutely fine. I think we were really lucky because we arranged for some bundles of wood to be at the site, and it was GREAT wood; caught easily, little smoke, and burned forever. We were able to grab some homestead-grown fruit on the way out which was also a great perk. I would definitely recommend this site to future families and hikers.

I very much enjoyed the privacy and relaxing atmosphere of this campsite. I loved that there was a river nearby (10 minute walk away) , that the campsite was equipped with a bbq grill and a table, and that it had fresh drinkable well water close-by. The river was a ton of fun and easy to get to, and the view of the stars at night was spectacular. Overall, the hosts provided us with everything we needed to have a great time!
For the hosts, would recommend more frequent maintenance if the Porto-let. The smell was unbearable and had to go outside as much as possible. That is my only complaint... but it’s enough to consider not going back. :(

The Hall Homestead offered quiet and seclusion in a little corner of the rain forest. We felt very cozy with lots of privacy and the river was a gorgeous place to wade through to beat the heat and wash up when needed. We would gladly visit again and recommend staying here if you are visiting the Cascades!

Campsite had a nice setup, everything was per the listing description. Ariel was very welcoming and shared all the details you needed to know and things to do/see nearby. They run a farm and sell certain groceries at a time which was even convenient for us because we needed more eggs. The well water tasted great and the porta potty was as clean as it can be. The site was well kept and had plenty of space for our group of 4 and was a good distance from her house for privacy. Thanks Hall Homestead!

We would definitely stay again! Ariel and Matt were very warm and welcoming and the site was private and quite comfortable. It was surrounded by native vegetation and had everything that we could want or need.

The Hall Homestead was a delightful camping space. It was a great jumping off spot to the Northern Cascades areas. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful with all of our needs and also gave some great recommendations. The site was large and very private which made it a quiet camping experience. We highly recommend this booking and would love to come back again!

we had a great time! campsite was just as described and pictured & we had decent privacy from the other site. host was very helpful and greeted us as we arrived! she gave us directions to the creek which was so beautiful! the fire pit was very helpful and there was wood for sale on site. the campsite itself was completely paves so we didn’t have to sleep on any debris. would definitely recommend!

Ariel's campsite is a wonderful place to camp. It is close to the many wonders of the North Cascades. The creek is a great place to visit and it's a close walk away. The campsite itself was private and had everything you would you need. I would definitely recommend staying here!

This was our first time in North Cascades and we stayed here for the 4th of July weekend. It was a truly amazing experience and we cannot wait to come back. Be sure to purchase some fresh eggs from Ariel! Firewood is also for sale.
Ariel and Matt were so kind and really great Hosts. The homestead is located just off highway 20 in Marblemount off a private and well-maintained road and a short drive to the North Cascades National Park Visitor Center. The campsite itself is very private and tucked away in the woods. There's a picnic table, firepit, trash bin, and a BBQ grill. The toilet and potable water are next to the parking area. The town of Marblemount is just down the road and has everything you'll need for your getaway.
There's a beautiful creek just up the road (Bacon Creek) where we spent a day fishing and reading by the creek and didn't see a single person all day.
Highway 20 takes you through the whole park and is where you can find all kinds of hiking trails, vista points, and things to see and do for the whole family. Be sure to drive to Washington Pass to see some of the best views. If you are in the mood for some great ice cream and like small pioneer towns, Winthrop is a must stop.
I HIGHLY recommend Hall Homestead and will be telling everyone I know to come here if they want to experience the best of North Cascades. Thank you so much, Ariel and Matt, for making this a 4th of July that will never be forgotten.

We LOVED this hipcamp! Ariel and her husband were such wonderful hosts. They showed around their beautiful homestead that is beyond impressive, shared some fresh eggs and home made sourdough bread! The site was private and well maintained with access to a beautiful creek. We would love to come back! Thanks so much for everything! So grateful :)

Super kind hosts. Location is great, and the site is decent. Overall it was perfect for the night, and we used the firepit. When I woke up during the night the stars were absolutely spectacular. The family introduced us to some of their animals. The location is relatively nearby many hikes in the North Cascades.
Con: The porta-potty was very gross and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. There was a very pungent smell, and it was right next to the water spigot. I was deterred by this, so I bought my own water.
As long as the toilet is better maintained, I would recommend this Hipcamp to others.

Ariel and her family were super friendly and kind with us, she was very helpful in terms of places to go and direction.
Her place was super clean and pretty.
I would go back again and camp at her place 100 times.
Highly recommend for someone who likes to camp and at the same time have access of water/fire woods and bathroom.

The campsite was very centrally located and we were able to get to our hike easily! While it was near the house, it was very private and felt like we were in the middle of the woods. Ariel came to meet us right when we arrived - she was kind and helpful!

Absolutely wonderful experience from start to end! Campsite is exactly as described -- private, well kept, with a fire pit, picnic table, grill, trash, and honey-bucket just down the path. Close proximity to any of the hikes and outings one would like to take in the North Cascades. And Ariel + Fam were exceptionally great hosts, provided recommendations and directions and even cupcakes! Highly recommended!
