We are a 20 acre tree farm in the making on beautiful Whidbey Island. The property is rough graded with lots of areas to explore. No water. Tons of fire wood to glean. Close to town for supplies but quiet and crazy stars at night. We have cleared two of the cedar groves on the south side, and they are perfect campsites. The sites are 75'-100' apart, more private than a state park, but close enough that a bigger group would feel close. Portable Toilet is on site 100' from the Big Cedar site. May through October Cedar Hallow- Our original campsite, sports a hammock, a picnic table, a fire pit, & good area for 2 tents, probably 6 people. The site has huge cedar trees all around so it's filtered sunlight most of the day, & warm in the summer! Big Cedar- Our bigger site. Equipped with a fire pit, a picnic table, hammock, and space for 3-4 tents, probably 12 people comfortably. There is a dirt road that circles the property, it's great for walks and animal viewing but can get muddy in the rain so be prepared. Parking is a gravel lot directly across the little dirt road from the sites. Unload at the site then move to parking as to not block the road. Trucks with campers can pull tight to a site but don't pull into a site please, obey standard fallen tree limb boundaries. The great wide open forest to the south allows for nice nature calls bathroom walks, go deep. Thanks

Cedar Hallow
Comfortable Camping! Low noise lvl
Wonderful camping experience, site was clear otherwise tidy (unsure if the wheelbarrow with safety cone was a sign for the spot we just moved it aside) plastic chairs were present and portable toilet was pristine! Wood was able to be collected around area with permission which was a bonus and solid power stringed lights! Recommend bringing plenty of water but if needed this site is off a not busy road - you’ll still hear occasionally cars and planes overhead but just the same owls and wildlife. Saw deer and eagles ourselves :) Town plaza for any needs is 5-10mins away at most. Recommend for a fairly remote but clean & comfortable site for tent camping or other!

The Pad
The space was wide and spacious. Perfect for the basic necessities of camping. A safe and nice place to stay. The stars were wonderful.

The Pad
Simple, bare-bones spot.
The Pad is exposed and bare-bones. The other sites in the woods look much prettier.

Nice site, bad host
There was nothing wrong with the campsite. I liked how spacious it was and the location was great - felt like you were in the woods but close enought to town in case you needed supplies or just wanted to experience the shops and restaurants. However, there was an incident that took place. Mind you as a tell this story it is myself (female) and my other friend (female) and our 2 on-leash dogs. (The other 2 members of our party would be coming the following day). We arrived on Friday and everything was fine. We went to bed around 11pm and I woke up to my dog growling outside and I also heard footsteps and animals running around. The man from the campsite next to us was standing outside my tent and when I asked him "why are you here? What are you doing here?" He stuttered and replied "I'm sneaking around your tent". My friend and I were very scared and I messaged the host right away. I honestly dont think the host took me seriously. He kept asking me why I felt unsafe and what would I do if was the host. First of all, why I felt unsafe is a given: there is a man outside my tent at 12:30 in the morning. And what would I do if I was the host? Oh probably make sure my campers felt safe. After a sleepless night, we left early and asked for a refund and told tim we left and he said "that's your choice". To me, Tim just sees you as money in his pocket and won't help as needed. Maybe if you were a man it would be different but as a woman, no I wouldn't recommend this site to you.
