There are many fantastic state parks along the Washington coast offering a variety of coastal camping experiences. Your trip to the coast can include flying kites, walking your dog on the beach, and surfing the waves on a summer day followed by tent or RV camping and a warm campfire to cook your meals. One state park to prioritize a visit to is Grayland Beach State Park. Sitting on 412 acres of land, Grayland Beach offers full-utility campsites, yurts, four standard sites and four primitive tent sites within walking distance of the ocean. Another great coastal camping destination is Pacific Beach State Park. It is a 10-acre camping park with 2,300 feet of ocean shoreline. Pacific Beach has standard sites, utility sites, and yurts available for reservation. Camping on the Washington coast is truly an experience everyone should have.

This campsite sits right on the bank of the Bogachiel River. You can pitch a tent just about anywhere on this clearing and get a great view of the river.
Camp vibes. Enjoying the fire from inside my tent to get out of the rain.
Ruby Beach! This place was one of my favorite beaches in the area. This is a great place to be at sunset.
The bridge in the distance is the road heading out to La Push. Definitely make the short drive out there!
I spent couple hours hiking around and exploring the banks of this river. Whether you spend your downtime at the beach, in the forest, or on the river, this place is worth the trip.
