The Full-Moon Dome at Our Farm
Hornets in tent & ignored by host
we visited the full moon dome during easter weekend were not told about the burn ban until the day of even though the owners claimed to know a week in advance. I understand it's not their fault but we don't get to camp often and would've cancelled if we knew as having a fire is important to us, we found it very odd they chose not to tell us until the day of. on top of this was HORNETS IN THE DOME!!! we stayed for 3 nights and each morning we woke up to 5 or 6 and had to kill more through the day. we informed the owner the first day and they sent someone 4 hours later to give us carpenter bee spray and it didnt work. we also found a hole in the tent that we thought they might be coming in and patched it with our own tape we went out and bought despite requesting from host. the second day we had to flag someone down off a tractor to basically come and tell us that "its a tent and it's not sealed" so they couldn't do anything about it except give us more spray. my 40 dollar amazon tent seals!!! was a very uncomfortable experience and we only slept in the tent because it was too cold for them at night. on top of this we were not offered any local beer/wine like vouchers and other reviews mentioned or anything to make our experience better. we asked about the food and drink that was supposed to be complimentary and got ignored! I get it was over a holiday but if you dont want to accommodate guests then decline my booking. would not come back or recommend to anyone esp with kids!

Glamping Getaway: Birthday Surprise
Let's be honest, "glamping" can sometimes feel like glorified tent camping. But this birthday getaway in a geodesic dome was the real deal.
The hosts were fantastic! Super responsive and even offered fresh, mouthwatering Delmonico steaks from their farm (highly recommend!). The dome itself was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated, making it feel instantly cozy and homey.
Bonus points for the composting toilet, which, let's just say, exceeded all expectations (and fears!). Plus, the location was perfect - close enough to hop on the interstate for Shenandoah adventures, but secluded enough for a peaceful escape.
If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable experience, look no further! This is the perfect place to reconnect with nature (and maybe indulge in a delicious steak) in style.

The Half-Moon Dome at Our Farm
We had a fantastic experience in the Full Moon Dome! We went to stargaze and it did not disappoint. Spacious, clean, wonderful fire pit area, and super dark for stargazing. Plus the breakfast popovers were amazing! We would absolutely recommend and come back!!

Full Moon Dome
I had the opportunity to stay in the Full Moon Dome from 11/26-11/27. Hosts, Jeremy & Remy were very accommodating and ensured that their campsite was clean/organized and easy to navigate to. I do wish that our stay was much longer, however, there will be no hesitation in booking again with these two.
Thank you!!!

Stargazing and relaxing
Our stay at the dome could not have been better. We spent most of iur time enjoying the fireside views of the fields and mountains in the distance. We were lucky enough to have crystal clear skies with amazing views of the stars, planets, and even a few shooting stars. My personal favorite was the relaxing morning by the fire cooking breakfast and taking in all the natural beauty around us. This is definitely a place I'd love to bring my friends and family to again in the future.
