Our family has owned the property since 1949. Come fish on our pier or from our ganoe, catch and release or hike our 8 miles of trails. Let your dogs run free on our large spacious private camp sites. You can also rent all the sites and ride to your hearts content if you bring your four wheelers, side by sides and dirt bikes. Waivers required for all riders and they are provided on site. These are "dry" rustic sites so you need to be self contained. We have an off-the- Grid cabin with a composting toilet, a double futon pull out and 4 cots with a view of the pond. We have a simple playground for small children that encourages their imaginations.

Cedar Lane - Site 2

Hawthorne Hollar is a great place to rv camp. We have been many times. We have set up our 5th wheel on sites one and two. Both are awesome. Very pet friendly, which is very important to us. Hawthorne Hollar has great hiking trails and pond for fishing. We love Julie and Moon. They are great hosts. We will definitely be going back.

Enchanted Hidden Cabin

Moon and Julie’s little cabin is adorable. Perfect spot for a getaway… the gnome trail is very cute and a must see. Great location, peaceful, and Moon and Julie are very friendly and hospitable.

Persimmon Patch - site 1

We had so much fun during our stay! Moon & Julie were super friendly and laid back, we loved exploring the trails and fishing from the pier. Can’t wait to come back!!

Enchanted Hidden Cabin

Very important, please read!

These photos don’t do this place justice. This place is beyond beautiful. We loved staying here in the cabin, with not a soul in sight. It was so peaceful at night, and Julie & Moon truly are some of the most down to earth people we’ve come across. I’m not usually a review writer, but they deserve all the recognition for how much they do, and have done to make this a great experience for families like mine. I would go here again and again without a second thought. So if you’re reading through reviews to determine if this is the place you want to stay or not, take my word and book it. There are no people around, amazing trails, a cute ol kids playground, firewood everywhere, a dock to fish with a canoe, access to hot showers, and not to far from town if you forget something. They even have a cute little barn set up with a bunch of toys and games for everybody.

Fifth Stay

We always have a great stay Moon and Julie's land. I think this is our 5th time there. There is plenty of space to hang out and miles of trails to walk. Moon and Julie are welcoming and are a wealth of knowledge about the area if you need some ideas of what to see, do, or eat. We highly recommend this hip camp.

Cedar Lane - Site 2

Great spot! Hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Lots of wood supplied kept us warm on a cold night and the sky was beautiful. Really nice fire pit and set up and plenty of room. The outhouse was really nice and clean too.
