The site of an old Appalachian mountain moonshine still dating back to the late 1800s (feel free to take one of the old bottles as a souvenir) this little hidden holler is now home to hundreds of ferns, a small seasonal stream and many deer kin. Just a mile from beautiful waterfall hikes that connect to the AT, breweries/vineyards, a community thrift store with 10$ bag sales - all the time, Wintergreen Mountain, a weekly farmers market and the infamous Blue Ridge Pig; this little sweet spot off the 151 is right at the center of all the best the Rockfish Valley has to offer.
