At nearly 35 miles long, this mostly mellow path will weave you along the Grayson Highlands State Park and Jefferson National Forest, all the way to the North Carolina border. Snow bunnies will love Virginia's eight sweeping mountain ranges, and beaches stretch along the western side of the state, giving you full access to the Chesapeake Bay and the ocean beyond it.
