Kayaking on the pond! It actually goes down to a depth of about 30 feet in the middle. Super refreshing for an afternoon or morning dip.

Camping in Virginia will give you the chance to enjoy a wide variety of landscapes, from a 217-mile stretch of the Blue Ridge Parkway to Clarksville Lake, the largest in the state. The range in terrain found here makes it ideal for hikers and bikers alike, especially along the Creeper Trail. At nearly 35 miles long, this mostly mellow path will weave you along the Grayson Highlands State Park and Jefferson National Forest, all the way to the North Carolina border. Snow bunnies will love Virginia's eight sweeping mountain ranges, and beaches stretch along the western side of the state, giving you full access to the Chesapeake Bay and the ocean beyond it. So, dive in! The beach is just the beginning of what this beautiful state has to offer.

The beautiful 1812 farmstead stands tall among the acres of pastures surrounding it.
The property around the farmhouse is massive with pastures, a pond and trails for days.
Beautiful eco-pastures are among the many alluring features of the farm. Eat breakfast with the cows as you watch the sunrise.
Here is the outside of the master suite including a kitchen, fireplace and upstairs loft.

Keep your eye out for flowering dogwood on your hikes. This plant is so well-loved that it was named both state tree and state flower.
The cabin's comfortable bedrooms invite guests to take a great nap, or catch up on a great book (or color!)
Have a happy stay at this beautiful cabin!
As you make the final turn to the cabine, you drive a long a beautiful wide creek that runs along a mountain side and the road all the way to the cabin.
As you pull up to the house you're struck by the serenity of the location.
Eating in a great, but the cabin is close to restaurants and grocery stores so that late afternoon or evening run for ice cream is absolutely an option.
