Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

Exclusive retreat with access to creek on 3 sides - gradually grassed sloped land towards the creek with existing fire pit. Plenty of wildlife including Kangaroo, koala, Wallabie, Echidna, Reindeer, Wambats, fish, eel, crays and local Platypus! If your looking for a private camp spot which is not visible to anyone and surrounded by water and natural beauty, then this is the place for you! lots of activities around and can supply fresh eggs, veg and firewood direct from our farm! Note: this booking is only for one group/family and you will have complete privacy.You will have complete privacy as there will be only one booking at a time for the entire site, so you will have it all to yourself with family/friends. Surround yourself with wildlife and the sound of flowing creek, full of fish and other wildlife including our local Platypus! Firewood, eggs and veg can be supplied depending on stock ( please indicate if your interested and we can advise availability) You will need to be self sufficient and take your rubbish with you so that we can maintain the land in its natural state and keep it beautiful for others to enjoy for years to come :)

Merrimans Camp Ground

Sam's site is amazing - fresh flowing creek, gorgeous trees, a big campfire, and no limits on noise restrictions. One hiccup occurred though, which is that due to rain the road to exit the campsite became slippery and several cars and a trailer needed to be pushed manually by several guests. I think this could have been prevented by the site having some gravel / rocks laid down on the road, and I fed this feedback to the owner who said they will address this. Be warned - if there is rain you might experience a similar issue unless the road is laid with some gravel by that time.

Absolutley loved our time on Sam's property! Pretty easy to get to and felt very private. Loved the little stream that borders the site. We forgot to bring wood and it was a little bit slim pickings in the surrounding area so make sure you bring a couple of bags! Would recommend and we will definitley be back!

Beautiful peaceful place. Need to be self sufficient as a bit of a trip to get supplies. Nice to wake to native birdlife and a babbling creek.
