The Texas Music River Ranch is 111 acres located in the quaint village of Webberville, Texas, only 20 miles east of downtown Austin. The large oak and pecan trees amid the rolling green hills of this gorgeous ranch land are nestled on the banks of the lazy Colorado River. Swim, kayak, or canoe...but there’s no better way to beat the legendary Texas heat than by grabbing an inner tube and enjoying a calm, steady float along a river known for an abundance of fossils and its wildlife. Bring your own tubes, kayaks and canoes, we are currently replenishing our inventory. Or perhaps you prefer to fish the shady tree-lined banks. Either way, you'll see a variety of birds while you relax on or beside the cool waters of the Colorado River. We're kid and dog friendly and we love musicians. Bring an instrument and join us for an impromptu jam session in our special events room or around the campfire. Cook dinner on our BBQ pit. Firewood is available onsite A few rules... 1. Perfectly Peaceful
I spent 7 nights there. The host Phoenix was super friendly and helpful and went out of the way to make sure I was happy with the accommodations. The views of the fields from my campsite were beautiful, the sunrises and sunsets were magical. I was only 20 minutes from Austin but it felt like I was in the shire in Middle Earth, no people or city congestion for miles. I didn't have any issues with coyotes or wild boar or anything that might be a cause for worry like some hipcamps this far south. I did however receive a symphony of frogs and crickets and owls every night that provided the perfect white noise to sleep like a baby.

The campsites are generally nice and spaced out a good distance but the grounds were not very well mowed or trimmed the showers were not working and the portal bathrooms were very dirty. I will probably return later in the fall. Hopefully they have improved!

I loemved tent camping here. It’s very chill, private and big space! You don’t have the restrictions of state parks but feels just as safe. The people were super friendly and helpful. Would recommend 100%

Just far enough, yet convenient.
Great site alongside the Colorado River. However, I actually set up at site #4. It wasn't until after I had everything in place did I discover a marker buried in the grass indicating my mistake. Fortunately, Phoenix greeted me at the site and ensured me I was okay to stay put. Perfect spot to doze off for a nap in my hammock and a short stroll to access the river. I will definitely be back to camp here again! 😎
