A daily joy, watching the sun come up. Trees on the East side of the farm make it so pretty.
In the spring, watching lambs sproink is fun. These are registered Gulf Coast Sheep which are on the endangered list.
Watching lamb races, usually about an hour before sunset are a fun way to end the day.
Of course they need to stop for a snack.
And they like to pose for pictures.

A little shack tucked back into the woods. Alan comes out here himself when he wants to get away. Could be a good "intro to camping" since you're really out there, but still have some amenities
The little space has some cots for your sleeping bags, but is small enough to ensure you'll spend most of your time out by the fire or roaming around
Alan and his crew of pups were as nice as can be showing me around the space
Well defined fire ring right outside the front porch
Lots of little projects going around this spot

The timber is along the side of the 6 acres. This view is looking towards the (gravel) road.
All of the timber looks just like this. This however, happens to be the spot where we are building a cabin for our guests :-)
You can see the front of the timber from our house. There is two open meadows in the front area.
Some cool mushrooms in our timber!
Some of the oak trees on our property are 100's of years old!

There are so many acres for you to choose to set up your tent. A few different spots have fire rings set up, like here.
The longhorn was about as Texas as it gets
The drive into Grapeland is just gorgeous. The roads (even the public ones!) are often sand though, so be aware of that with whatever vehicle you'll be taking to this listing!
This little covered nook in the woods would be a great spot in case you wanted to hide from some rain coming your way
