Camel Hump Campsites, Texas

Camel Hump is the small mountain right next to our sustainable house project. Fort Camel Hump existed here many moons ago and was the demarcation point for travelers coming from the South to head either North to the mission in Sante Fe NM, or Northeast to the mission in San Antonio: the fort was a resting and trading place and not an army fort. Arrowheads are common finds in this area, and campsites 1 and 2 are littered with calcite crystals, which we'd like you to leave on the ground so all can enjoy, but please take and post pictures... happy travels and hope to see you soon!
