The landowners have made this sturdy canoe available for campers to use to adventure across the river.
After getting our tents set up, we hung out in the camping area for a bit before walking down the path to the river access area. The camping clearing has a picnic table, bench, fire pit and plenty of space for large groups.
There are plenty of trees large enough to string up hammocks, if that's your camping style. We put one up and enjoyed overlooking the springs and vegetation.
We did plenty of fishing from the shore, but we caught some of our largest fish out on the canoe in the deeper parts of the river.
The cool breeze in the area is a nice relief from the hot Texas summer and makes it easy to kick back and relax.

Pretty ideal campsite.
There are ample gathering spots/hammocks/hang out areas on property. Kathlyn has done such a great job of landscaping and taking care of the property. I felt right at home.
