Hi, there! After several years of searching for a hill country hideout and all but giving up on the idea, my husband and I decided that perhaps we should just buy ourselves an RV and go wherever the wind blew us. In 2016 we did just that, and we bought ourselves “The Land Yacht”, as I have so named our Heartland Cyclone. We spent 2016/17 touring around, and in Feb 2017 we decided to attend the “Cowboy Mardi Gras ” in Bandera Tx, and found a great spot to camp on Lake Medina. My dad joined us on that trip and I think we all kind of fell in love with the place! Lyn and I always dreaming, decided to look and see what sort of real estate there was around the lake. We have always argued about Lake VS river, Lyn likes the lake I like the river, anyway, after some searching on line we decided to go up in person one day and just “look”. Well..

Well.......long story made short, first place we looked at was Boulderdash, it met all our needs. Boulderdash came complete with 2 acres on the river at the mouth of lake Medina. It had a cabin already on it that was built in 2009, as well as 5 RV hookups! PERFECT!! Thus the idea began to start listing the cabin as a vacation rental, and refurbish the RV hookups/sites so they could accommodate ourselves and maybe someone to manage the place, as we are both still working in Corpus Christi. The place was named “Boulderdash” because of the huge boulders out front, and because Balderdash is defined as “Something that does not have or make sense: “ All perfectly suited to this en devour!
The RV spots are as good as they are going to get, you wont find fancy cement perfectly level pads here, because in the next three to four years we plan on building right about where site 4 is. Boulderdash has already exceeded all of our expectations! And we sincerly hoping that Boulderdash becomes a place full of fun memories for not only ourselves but whomever visits!
