Once the site of the Old Wagon Road from Dangerfield to Longview and the baseball field for the one room school house,it became Highway 26 following the Wagon Train Road down past the old school building and across the creek that is now Lonestar lake but was changed to 997 in the 1950's and moved over closer to the lake. The scar of which can still be seen on the property today. Fully wooded now and used by wildlife as a lane of passage and for permanent,habitat.Abundant with birds and small animals.Visited by larger wildlife ,migratory waterfowl and birds.Excellent place for birding or playing outdoor games with family and friends.
