Spring break
I loved camping at Kelly’s campground, we stayed at the Sydney, it was perfect to keep us warm on the cold nights, the views are spectacular, plenty of space to explore and view different entrances to the river.
The bath house was clean and well equipped , Kelly came over twice quickly to help us figure out the hot water and the heater in the room.
We are definitely going to come back, the Buddhist temple is a must see, I went back to a favorite trout farm restaurant only 20 minutes away and we were also able to make one trip for lunch at the Apple Barn.
Several gas stations and restaurants nearby making it convenient for small last minute purchases.

Camping with large dogs
This campsite gets 5 stars, we went with our two large dogs (black lab and german Shepard mix) and had the absolute best time ever right on the water and the sounds of the river made us feel so peaceful!!! The spots are pretty close together with only a couple skinny trees seperating them so keep that in mind if you're going with high energy pups. That being said my partner (who camps often) said that those campsites were at a normal distance apart. I'd say rent sites 7&8 at the same time if you're going with a group to maximize river fun. It was THE BEST vacation I've had in so many years, we would love to be there forever. Alsooo we were there during fall and didn't get any ticks on us or the dogs, which was awesome!!! It's well maintained and we appreciate Kelly letting us stay on her land.

Cant beat this site. Private and on the river ♥️
We didnt stay much at camp but definitely would consider coming back.
