Secluded Campsite w/ amazing view!
We loved the site provided by John and his family. It’s above his cabin property, so it does feel secluded, and it has the most amazing view! You won’t believe the sunset! The added swing was such a bonus! It’s full hook up, quite level and has decent WiFi (2-3 bars Verizon). The trip there had some tight curves but no trouble for our set up and the ascent to the site is steep but was no issue. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back!!!

Amazing Sunset!
Sunset Ridge is an awesome spot in the Smokey Mountains to take in a beautiful sunset, and enjoy the scenery. Having full hookups was incredibly helpful. John is a great host and would be happy to stay here again.

Sunset Ridge in the Smoky Mountains
Perfect Spot!!
We can’t say enough great things about this camping spot. It was a perfect location with great views. We have a 26ft TT and didn’t have any issues, but make sure you follow John’s directions. Google Maps pulled up the same directions but check them before hand to make sure. It’s a large area and pull through spot. Even though their cabin is down the hill we felt like we were the only ones there. Very little traffic around the area. Lots of hiking and fishing trails near by. We even made the 45 min drive to the hot springs and it was definitely worth it. We highly recommend this location and can’t wait to go back.

Sunset Ridge in the Smoky Mountains
Everything we expected and more!
The campsite was perfect for our family! Our family of 5 went camping to escape the city for a few days and enjoy Mountain Views. Our 3 children ran around and were able to enjoy the space. Our dog and cat came too and also loved the wide open space. We loved the seclusion. The view did not disappoint and was amazing! The sunset was breathtaking each evening! Wonderful space; we will absolutely be back! We did go to Dollywood one day and went went the back way and avoided all of the main road traffic. We were able to be dumped right into the parking lot! It was about an hr drive. It was the perfect location for those seeking solitude, views, time outside and with family. It was the perfect site with wonderful hosts.

Sunset Ridge in the Smoky Mountains
Couldn’t have asked for a better view! I was able to get my 26” Class C leveled enough for the week. Loved having the electric and water hookup. But the best thing…the sunset. Loved watching that every night. Plenty of space for our dogs to enjoy themselves as well. Not too many cars drive by, so it was nice and peaceful as well.
