Running Water Creek is a unique, fully off grid campground just 20 minutes to downtown Chattanooga. We have 80+ campsites spread out over 120 acres. Most of the roads are accessible in any small car, but some roads require 4x4 (they're marked with a sign). We have a bath house with toilets, showers, and sinks and even offer hot water! Our well and cabins are all solar powered as we are not on the electric grid. Some info about the property: -we DO NOT have water or power hookups -we have gravel roads with a 5 MPH speed limit on the property (if you drive too fast the roads will seem rough) -we are right next to a highway and train tracks so there will be some noise (some days are better than others and we have no way of predicting how many trains will/will not go by) -none of our campsites have picnic tables (please plan accordingly) -most campsites have fire rings built, but if you choose a site without one you need to build your own

There is an electrical box at each end of the graveled parking area (Sites 1 & 2) with 20 and 30 amp plugs. A water container with non-potable water is on site for your use. There is also an outhouse, picnic table, and a fire ring. We are located just minutes away from the The Caverns, South Cumberland State Park, Bigfoot Adventures, and many other attractions. The graveled camping area is fairly close to Hwy 50 so please expect to hear some road noise. Need firewood? Please let us know at least 48 hours prior to arrival and we can coordinate to have it delivered to your campsite before you arrive, enough wood for the night (and then some) $35.

Quail Run Farm

We have a working farm with sweeping views of Lookout mountain and only 12 minutes from all the comforts of downtown Chattanooga. Our expansive 120-acre property provides campers with the freedom to choose their camping spots anywhere on the farm. Farm animals include horses, cattle, hogs, chickens, goats, bees, stocked ponds, gardens and much more. We have strategically placed signs throughout the property to help you identify potential neighbors. If you desire the company of ducks, consider setting up camp near our picturesque duck pond. For those who prefer the rustic crowing of roosters to a phone alarm, we have four chicken coops dispersed across the farm. Our horses freely roam the front pastures. The cows enjoy grazing on lush grass and taking refreshing dips in the ponds. They also relish watching the sunset from the hill's vantage point, as it offers the best view on the farm. We are a working farm with staff tending to various jobs throughout the day. We have a map to show some of the popular locations campers have enjoyed in the past, but it is first come first serve. We intentionally leave some of our fields uncut. In some fields, the grass can come up above the knees. If you are picky with the grass, these are pastures on a farm and we do not cut them. We leave that to the animals to take care of. All of our staff are super friendly and happy to help guide you to the best camping spot and answer any questions. In searching for your campsite please note that there may be livestock in and around certain areas as we rotate pastures. Please respect farm rules and do not camp in a pasture with cattle and do not enter any gated area. Potable well water can be located from the blue spigot outside of the staff housing area. Fire rings and chopped wood are ready for you to borrow and return by the outdoor shower area. Our outdoor shower is located by the yurts. We are almost finished building our outdoor bathroom facilities, if you visit before they are complete please use the blue pop up tents or the barn toilet for a real rustic feel. If you are interested in a more posh experience, we have yurts and tiny homes for rent. You may also rent the pool if available and in season. Embracing farm life is not just an adventure but also a valuable learning opportunity, whether you're a family or an individual seeking a taste of the countryside lifestyle. The Bolo Club

Our grandparents moved to the farm on Little Crow Creek on September 27, 1927 from up in Sinking Cove. They had six children with our dad, Charlie Jr., being one of them. Charlie Stubblefield Sr. was a very interesting man with a wide curiosity in just about anything that had to do with history, Indian artifacts, Civil War, fossils, oral history, religion and more. Therefore, the small museum on the property next to the pavilion is dedicated to our grandfather. Charlie Sr. and our grandmother served as Justices of the Peace for over 30 years. Further, our grandmother was the backbone of the family, and was a gracious lady with a special personality to handle the rigors of the day; we miss them both very much. The area has many interesting stories and legacies of characters of yesterday and today. Some info about the property: -we DO NOT have water or power hookups -we have gravel roads with a 5 MPH speed limit on the property (if you drive too fast the roads will seem rough) -we are right next to a highway and train tracks so there will be some noise (some days are better than others and we have no way of predicting how many trains will/will not go by) -none of our campsites have picnic tables (please plan accordingly) -most campsites have fire rings built, but if you choose a site without one you need to build your own

Cumberland Mountain Vista

The best part about this site are the views! Relax on the side of the Cumberland Plateau while overlooking Burroughs Cove and the Elk River. There is an electrical box at each end of the graveled parking area (Sites 1 & 2) with 20 and 30 amp plugs. A water container with non-potable water is on site for your use. There is also an outhouse, picnic table, and a fire ring. We are located just minutes away from the The Caverns, South Cumberland State Park, Bigfoot Adventures, and many other attractions. The graveled camping area is fairly close to Hwy 50 so please expect to hear some road noise. Need firewood? Please let us know at least 48 hours prior to arrival and we can coordinate to have it delivered to your campsite before you arrive, enough wood for the night (and then some) $35.

Faye's place is located on Rock Creek Road, ten minutes from the amenities of Tullahoma, Tn. The area is agricultural, but maintains a majority of natural beauty. Our property is 90 acres, consisting of fields, hardwood forests, and Rock Creek. The campsite is next to small waterfalls that flow past soft grassy banks, under the shade of oak trees. The creek is wide and shallow and the waterfalls create a tranquil ambiance. We have chickens (no roosters), cats (only 3), and an abundance of natural wildlife. Feel at home at our home, where rural hospitality is our standard. Learn more about this land: The Rock Creek campground is located in a secluded wooden area by a flowing creek. The creek area is great for wading, exploring nature, and relaxing. The creek also includes small waterfalls.

Greeter Falls Campground is located less than a half mile from the Greeter Falls Trailhead, adjacent to the 16,000 acre Savage Gulf State Park offering over 50 miles of well-marked trails for every skill level. The .08 mile Greeter Falls Trail loop connects you to three awe inspiring waterfalls as well as the nearby Blue Hole swimming area. Tucked away on Sequatchie Mountain, this little campground and hostel invites you to experience some of East Tennessee's best parks for climbing and hiking. Cliffs and waterfalls are minutes away at near by Foster Falls, Denny Cove and Castle Rock. The hostel offers 3 bedrooms, fast internet, complete kitchen, comfortable beds, smart TV, fire pit, and laundry. The campground offers dispersed sites with fire pits and picnic tables, as well as clean bathrooms and a communal barn with a microwave, fridge, games, tables and chairs. Overview

There are no campgrounds within Sewanee, but plenty of options await around the corner in South Cumberland State Park, 15 minutes east. Small RVs and tent campers can settle into campsites here with picnic tables, fire rings, and pit toilets. Explore Buggytop Cave, hike the Fiery Gizzard Trail that leads to waterfalls with swimming holes, and head to Denny Cove to rock climb. Roughly an hour northeast, find more space for roomy tents and big rigs up to 65 feet in Fall Creek Falls State Park. There are over 200 campsites with amenities like full hookups, grills, and bathhouses. For more comfort, rent a cabin with a full kitchen, bathrooms, wifi, and a porch overlooking the water. More than 50 miles of hiking trails await in the morning, or mountain bike the Upper Loop Trail instead. Anglers can drop a boat into Fall Creek Lake to reel in largemouth bass. Paddle boats, kayaks, and canoes are available for rent.
