Don’t let the name fool you… you won’t see too many critters at Mousetail Landing State Park in western Tennessee! This picturesque park located on the eastern banks of the lengthy Tennessee River is best known for its access to prime fishing waters. Fish for bass and crappie in the deep or skirt the shallows to try your hand at catfishing. If you’re more of a land-dweller, good news! Mousetail Landing has two hiking options for you to choose your own adventure. Pick the day-use trail for a shady trek through the rolling greenery, or take it to the next level and spend the night out on the backpacking trail. You can’t go wrong either way at Mousetail Landing State Park!
