Tennessee’s state parks are so nicely maintained and developed they feel more like mini resorts and Montgomery Bell State Park is no exception. Want to tee off? Try your hand on their 18-hole golf course. Hikers and bikers will be thrilled with over 19 miles of trails that offer gorgeous autumn colors in the fall and quiet winter strolls. There’s also a pool, fishing, canoeing and lots of historical sites for your buffs! One of the coolest features is Group Camp One, a still reservable cluster of 47 cabins built by the CCC. So if you’ve got a giant clan, bring ‘em! Everyone that strolls through Montgomery Bell State Park is sure to leave smiling.
