When you’re show up to the beauty at Indian Mountain State Park it is going to blow your mind that this green, lush oasis used to be a strip mine! Wasting no land, the park now stands as a testament to good environmental practices and whole lot of fun! You can stroll the trails (perfect for kiddos) and look for singing bluebirds or cast a line in “B” lake for catfish and bass. Indian Mountain is the perfect spot to bring your crew for a day cooking out and relaxing at one of the pavilions, but the parks real claim to fame is it’s camping. Hook up campsites offer all the amenities and a picture perfect southern sunset behind those rolling hills. Indian Mountain is that hunk of coal, polished into a diamond for you to enjoy.
