Proposed Carroll County Recreational Opportunity I would like to introduce the citizens of Carroll County and all interested parties to a proposed startup tent only campground on 72 acres adjacent to Mustang Cove at the new lake. I propose to offer a rustic or primitive tent camping experience and hope to enjoin the collaboration of the Caroll County 1,000 Acre Recreational Lake to provide kayak and canoe access to the adjacent shallow and shady shoreline. I solicit input and interest from local churches, scouts, 4H, and others and request your assistance and support. The Camp Carroll project is intended to provide a low impact environmentally and family friendly outdoor recreation experience for local residents and other interested parties; this includes but is not limited to the following: day use (CC Lake and general site), overnight tent and future small TT camping, canoe and kayak on 13 acres site ponds and CC Lake. The Project will allow local users the opportunity to camp/kayak (or learn) locally with convenient access to home or town markets. Churches, Boy/Girl Scouts, 4H and other users will have an additional local nature - based outdoor recreational opportunity available. Local is also extremely important convenience for the handicapped or other limited access populations. I will be happy to share updates, phoroscope and additional jnformation.
