Everybody meet Roy Lake State Park, a natureful space starring a glacial lake alongside acres of camping and fishing! Settled just three miles southwest of Lake City, this park has lots to offer in terms of easy livin’. Get your kayak or preferred floating vessel out on the water, hike the Roy Island Trail, play a round of disc golf, or picnic on the beach. There are boat ramps for smooth water access, electric campsites, a resort, cafe, and convenience store, and tons of huge shady trees. See what we’re talking about? Good, easy livin’! If you aren’t coming here for the incredible fishing, come here for the gorgeous view of the lake at sunset, when you can see the reflection of the trees on the water. That view alone is worth the whole trip. Come for a night and you may just want to stay forever.
