Stephen's Branch Farm, South Carolina

The property was granted to my great great grandparents in 1740 when they moved here from Ireland. My grandfather built the cottage in the 1920's and farmed the property. Today it is home to a herd of cows, horses and lots of lovely woods, and a stocked pond with a family of ducks. There are blueberry bushes, peach and pear trees and other garden produce. The fields are planted in corn, cotton and soy beans. The woods are home to deer and other wild animals. This is a wonderful place to bird watch as we have lots of song birds as well as birds of prey.
