Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, occasionally, so dogs on leashes at all times please. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Great coffee, cafe, and pub meals are available in Riverton. IGA food store is open 7 days a week, and a lovely clothing Boutique, Sassy Lass, is also open most days. Important Information to know before booking: All campers must check in BEFORE 8pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8pm, please make a booking for the following day instead Wood can be delivered to your site for a small fee, or your welcome to bring your own. Strictly no chainsaws on our properties please. generators only allowed on the unpowered sites. Pets are allowed, as long as they are on leashes at all times. If you have day visitors joining you during your stay, please go to the extras section and add the numbers to the booking. Off Grid at Edgehill Farm Stay

We loved our time at Edgehill Farm Stay. Trish and Peter were terrific hosts and made us feel very welcome. We wanted a place where we could just relax with very few people around us. That's exactly what Edgehill Farm Stay offers. They also have a number of long-drop toilets around the property, which are very pleasant to use. The view from their Sunset Bar was amazing and provided an opportunity for us to take in the surrounding area as the sun set across the valley, behind the hills.

Wonderful, friendly and helpful hosts. Trish is a treasure. Sites are spaced well apart so you feel like you are the only ones there. We opted for firewood which was great, plenty provided and good solid wood that burned nice and warm. Stars at night were amazing. Can't wait to come back again

Shady Acre

Trish was so friendly, the camp sites were generously spaced out sites. Large open fields, beautiful and quiet. Our dogs had a great time. Unfortunately we missed the sunset bar but will absolutely be back in the future to experience it. 10/10.

Amazing campsite and hosts

I loved my stay; very peaceful with lots of birds, beautiful views and amazing sunsets and sunrises. Trish was such a welcoming host felt like being at a friends place and nothing was too much bother. I prearranged 2 loads of wood which were at my campsite when I arrived and kept me warm for 3 days. I can’t wait to come back to this beautiful property and amazing hosts!
