Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
TerraLyra is situated on 55 acres of beautiful Fraser Coast Hinterland, surrounded by natural forests and land formations, and blessed with abundant wildlife. We offer 8 powered sites and 20 camp sites. Take a walk through the young forest up to the ridge amongst more mature gums and other native trees. Enjoy the Paperbark gum and Balga plant areas and find the hidden baby nature dam where you will be mesmerized by its beauty and serenity. We have been told that it is a great place for contemplation and meditation. Our large dam is home to fish and many native ducks, herons, swamp hens, cormorants, and more. Bird song trills through the forest daily, with flocks of wild parrots in the high trees. Occasionally, goannas and dragon lizards can be seen sunning themselves, and later in the day, wallabies and kangaroos can be seen making their move. Look out for the native brown and green frogs. Bring your kayak and paddle and swim in the large dam. There are great bike trails in the nearby Glenwood forest areas. We offer camping with a difference, providing a special place of rest and restoration with other optional extras, such as healings and readings onsite, alongside other activities like sky watch and fire ceremonies.

The location its self is amazing!!! Very peaceful and great place to go and relax. The Host, Heather was amazing and very helpful. She even showed us around the property for potential places to camp. Possibly one of the best bush camping experiences I could have had.

Easter weekend in nature
What a great time we had at TerraLyra over Easter,Heather and Louise are amazing hosts. The grounds are well maintained and our fur baby had the best time exploring the bushland around our camp site. We arrived on a very wet day but despite that, Heather was kind enough to arrange a beautiful spot for us overlooking the dam which gifted us with glorious sunsets. If you are looking for a place for a relaxing trip look no further, we’ll definitely be back!

Powered RV Camping
Sites very narrow, just and I mean just enough room for a van and awning. You are very close to your neighbours. Flushing toilet wasn't working. Only the two of us, I can't imagine what it would be like if there was more. No hot water in the shower.

Powered RV Camping
Heather & Louise are great hosts and were very friendly. The powered sites were on flat ground which made it easy to set up and the dam was great to cool down during the day. There were 2 toilets and a shower which are kept really clean and a camp kitchen with all the essentials if you need it. There is a big forest area to explore and it is a great base if you want a day trip to Rainbow beach, Tin can bay, Tiaro or Gympie. I would highly recommend Heathers place to camp and we’ll definitely be going back for a visit soon

Amazing hospitality!
TerraLyra is a beautiful and refreshing retreat only 5km off of Bruce Hwy. With its close proximity to the hwy, you'd expect some noise but it was very quiet and relaxing. Heather and Louis are very friendly and welcoming. They have such an amazing space that they have opened up to share with others. I would stay here again if I'm ever in the area.
