Swan Gully is in the town of Bromelton, South East Queensland (right near Beaudesert). Our location is perfect for easy access from Brisbane, Ipswich, and the Gold Coast at only 45 - 60 mins from either. We have over 900 acres of camping, 4WDing and other activities. Tracks range from easy off-road right up to "winches and lockers required". Bring your hiking shoes and mountain bikes to go on your own adventure. Great space for the kids to explore. Toilets and hot shower (coin operated). No access to town water, please bring our own drinking water. Pets welcome. We have room for horses too! Plenty of spots to choose from, 2WD access. Amenities block close to campsite. 4WD tracks are available for extra per day rate for the first day - book separately 'extra'. Each vehicle will require a separate booking, but as we don’t allocate camp sites, you can set up close to each other as one group. Toilets and hot shower (coin operated). Overall we had a good experience. 6.5/10 We went here for our 2yo daughters first camp. Drivers are supposed to not drive after 5pm which is one of the reasons we chose it. However, there was still a group of P platers that drove past our camp which woke our daughter just after she was put down at 6:45 (Any parent with a young toddler would understand how annoying this is). Also it was extremely hot. It would have been nice if there was a body of water to cool off in and escape the flies a little. Great place for testing out the 4WD! Great place but I would recommend fly swatter, mozzie spray and green ant powder 😅

Great spacious grounds close to GC
We stayed for one night in late Jan. Possibly the worst night due to extreme heat conditions. In no way was this the owners fault, but it did not make our experience that good. We took our dogs and setup near a small creek. Well looked after lawns. Lots of flat areas and space for big groups. The park is definitely geared towards the 4x4 group. Would not recommend for families. There is only one set of toilets on the property. And depending on where you camp, expect a bit of a walk. They’re in much need of repair. But decent enough. I didn’t use the showers (there were two). But I overheard a group say one was broken. And there was quite a queue waiting to use the good one. There was a “no driving after 5pm” rule. But plenty of people drove past us anyway. It seems rather hard to enforce. So why have it? Cannot fault the space or the hospitality of the owners. But I probably wouldn’t return.

Love It
Great place to stay as always, the boys loves the 4wd tracks even though somewhere closed post the wet weather.

Fantastic spot of land! Great views! Definitely worth a look if you’re not afraid to get amongst the 4x4 tracks!

Ok, more for 4wding than for family
After lots of rain the place looked beautiful and green. There were lots of young blokes having a blast driving around on the 4wd tracks and the place would be great if that is your thing. We had 2 families with school aged kids. They had a nice time walking around the paddock and went for a small 4wd with their uncle. The amenities were in very very poor condition with most of them broken. It was not a safe place for kids to use. The signage in the way in was blown down or missing so we didn’t know if we were going in the right direction. Unfortunately we will not return.
