Wake up to gorgeous sunrises and majestic horses on this small, working, boutique Arabian stud! Close to the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, Atkinsons, Wivenhoe and Somerset dams, markets every weekend at Esk and Fernvale (20 min to drive to either), and one hour to either Brisbane or Toowoomba! This location is fantastic to use as a base to travel from, if you’re looking to explore all that the Somerset Region and Lockyer Valley has to offer. The sites are located on predominantly flat land, which should make for a quick and easy set up so you can get on with enjoying your stay! If you are looking to bring your bicycles or horses to ride the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail, we are 1.7km from the entry point. We have two yards with shelters if you are bringing horses. Valoros Arabians is 1.7km from the centre of town, which has a small grocery store, a service station/takeaway shop, a pharmacy and pub; where you can get a delicious meal and if you come at the right time; a live band! This is a working farm with horses, free-range chooks and other animals. Please ensure your dogs are contained if they’ve not been introduced to other animals. Campfires allowed in fire pits provided. Please ensure fires are extinguished before departure. Self contained campers only, campers must byo camp toilet and leave no trace. Lovely and private by the dam. The horses were very cute to have wandering by going about their business. Nice and easy base after a day bike riding on the rail trail.

Definitely recommend, great area and a great price! The site is flat and clear, easy to find a good spot. Horses will come say howdy in the morning, the kids loved it!

So enjoyed my experience here at Valeros! You will be greeted by a warm welcome from Lyndsey your host and her friendly horses. The campsite is well kept and flat, grassy and right by the dam so you can have a dip if its hot. There is a fire drum there but byo your wood. You will need the complete set up here. There is plenty to do in the area with so many options like Wivenhoe and Atkinson Dams (both close by) and the pub is great if you dont fancy cooking and just a few Kms up the road. The interaction with the horses here is so lovely and you can clearly see Lyndsey's love for them. The little foals are a highlight. Highly recommend

We loved the peaceful tranquility. The horses loved coming to say hi. Peacock came to say hi. Ducks and other birds were fun to watch. We can not wait to take our grandkids here

Great spot to camp with the horses

Great place to camp. The kids loved the horses, they are already asking when we will go back. Thank you lyndsey for having us. Close to Wivenhoe and sommerset dams.
