Our stay at Lakeview was most enjoyable so much so that we wanted to extend but unfortunately for us there was a wedding booked on the area beside where we were setup. Our two Jack Russell dogs enjoyed their long walks around the lake and a roll on the mostly grassed area. Each morning we were visited by the local magpies followed by a pair of kookaburra and again each evening. We enjoyed sitting around our camp fire each night watching the beautiful sunsets. Thank you Belinda & Shane. We will be back when next up from Victoria.

It was great being able to camp so close to the beautiful lake and watch the many waterbirds. Our Jack Russell dog loves the water and could swim as much as he wanted. The lawns are well maintained and were great for a soccer game with our JR.

Great size sites Amazing well kept grounds Close to shops and to explore in the area. Would recommend to stay and enjoy it all has to offer, Bird life that would join us for breakfast every morning.

Great spot and property well maintained. You camp right on the lake so very peaceful. Lots of water activities although we didn't swim due to the weather so we had a nice little fire and when the rain came in spent about 2hrs playing pool so was the perfect night getaway for us.

We loved our week spent at Lakeview. Despite rain nearly every day the area is well grassed and kept immaculate. We did get to enjoy our campfire watching the stars. Giving way to tortoises and geese was a great laugh. The areas provided are massive and it is so peaceful and quiet. It is very family orientated and has a wonderful playground for children with kayaks and row boats to use. There are also water slides which would be awesome in summer. We are elderly so loved the serenity of bird life on the lakes. We will be back for sure.

Had such a peaceful little stay at Area 5A. The spot felt really calm and private, tucked right by the water with beautiful natural surroundings. We loved how simple and relaxed it was, just being out there with nature, listening to the birds and enjoying a quiet campfire. It’s a great spot if you’re after a slow, easy escape not too far from Brisbane. The site is unpowered and best suited to being self-sufficient, but everything was as described and easy to settle into. Stayed with my two dogs (on lead) and they had the best time exploring and soaking it all in 🐶🐶 Such a lovely, laid-back place to unwind, we’d definitely come back 🤍🐾

Great stay for my new Caravan shake down. My Dad, Doggo and I had a wonderful visit. Great facilities and the bins on site added to the no hassle stay. Beachmere is a lovely spot for shops and cafes. Beats the caravan parks by miles. I'm coming back!

Such a beautiful property for a weekend getaway. Kids (2 x 13yr olds) enjoyed the kayaks and the slip n slide! I enjoyed the peace. No firewood available though, so had to do a drive to the servo (2km down the road)

Another great stay at lakeview, the perfect place for a camp . Beautiful grassy sites right on the lake . If you want that feeling of being away from it all, yet remain so close to the amenities available at the township of beachmere ( about 2 min. Drive ) this is the place for you . Great place for kids with a playground, water slides, kayaks all provided and free to use , it is our GO TO spot when we want a few days away .

We loved our time at Lakeview. Very open campground with each camp a decent distance from each other. It was so peaceful and relaxing, we loved the addition of the pool table, slide into the lake and other features. We will definitely be back with friends.

I thought it was a beautiful spot but a bit pricey for what’s there no amenities at all we have stayed at other beautiful places with the code of amenities for half the price but all in all lovely spot did find the hip camp app a little difficult to navigate.

Overall we had a great experience, beautiful big sites and spread out nicely We will be back and highly recommend. Only downfall was on the Saturday there was no firewood in the little shed for sale

We had a short 2 nighter over the weekend at Lakeview - what a find so close to home!!! We loved the generous sized and well maintained sites; the peace and tranquility and the spring fed lake to cool off in. Lots of thought has obviously gone into providing a diverse range of places and experiences to enable one to just breathe and relax. Our dogs had a wonderful time too. We will definitly be back.

This camp is a great place for families. The sites and property are well maintained and the lake was a great source of entertainment! The slip and slide was a winner and gave us ours of entertainment. We're looking forward to visiting again!

We have been to Lakeview a few times and never ceases to amaze me. The grounds are so clean and tidy. A few things have changed like fuel for the slide which we didn't know. That's ok next time we know to bring our own as the slide is great for the kids. It is just a shame that whoever uses the kayaks can't make sure they are look after properly. I took one of the boats out to the middle to retrieve the oars for the boats and kayaks as other people just let them float around the lake. Kayaks had the bunns removed. Really people this is such a nice quiet place appreciate what the owners leave for you to use. We will always return as we love coming here but others need to appreciate it and follow the rules.

What great spot and set-up. Plenty of room and excellent for families plus our pooch. Kids had a lot of fun in and around the dam with canoes plus the water slide. Will be back for sure and bring more family and friends.
