Becoming a member has many benefits sign up on our Hidden Camp website of follow our facebook page for updates) Away from everything, close to most things. and has won and award for Runners up for best hipcamps for HipCamp Australia 2023 Our 6.5 acre property has an abundance of beautiful flora and fauna along with lots of wildlife and birds. It is the perfect destination to forget life's worries and relax in a beautiful natural environment. We are happy for you to enjoy riding push bikes on the property and to enjoy music around your campsite. Bring your kids, dogs, push bikes, or even a canoe and get back to nature! Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided and there is plenty of firewood available. Please ensure there are no restrictions in place before lighting a fire. There is a basic camp kitchen, toilet's, camp shower and a bar setup down near the dam for your use, complete with lights, weber BBQ, microwave, 2 hot plates, a toaster, sandwich press and fridge/freezer. You can also hire out the entire property just for your group or special occasion - please see entire property listing. We also have a mini camp shop on site that's also stocked with the hire items you will notice in the extras section(on the hipcamp app) and there are also many more items you may forget like frozen bread, milk and even ice also including but not limited to (depending on availability) - * Barista made coffees (by prior booking) * Ham & Cheese croissants (by prior booking) * Chopped Fire wood (Delivered to your camp) * Smoker Rental * Solar Panel Rental * Water Drum Rental * Camp toilet Rental *Generator Hire *Table Hire *Battery Hire *12v Fridge/freezer hire If you are requiring any of the above you can pay us in cash or you can check out these most of these options on the hipcamp app or give us a call or text to arrange. There is power down at the dam and please take your rubbish with you on departure and clean up after yourselves. Although most of all we want you to have a great time! We are 10 minutes from Gympie, 2 hours from Brisbane and an hour to the Sunshine Coast or Hervey Bay.

Entire Property of Hidden Camp

10/10 site and hosts

I recently had my 30th at Callan and Leah's property and could not have been more impressed with the setup and how accommodating the hosts were. Absolutely brilliant and simple campsite that had everything you needed and more. All of the attendees raved about the space and had a cracking time. The friendly farm animals were a huge hit, watering hole brilliant, projector screen setup for the footy, and the kitchen and amenities made it not too rough on the city-slickers. Would highly recommend this site for any group big or small.

Hidden Camp - UNPOWERED Sites

Great venue and great hosts

We had a wonderful Easter weekend at Hidden Camp. The reviews are quite mixed and we were a bit unsure what to expect. The camp basically centres around a dam for the kids to play in. The wet weather leading up to Easter meant it was full and water was flowing in and out. The kids had a great time on the rope swing, zip line and various kayaks and floating things. The dads did too! We camped on the other side of the dam and it seemed drier than the entrance side and although that meant the toilets were a walk away, that was fine. The toilets were clean and well maintained as were the two showers. Callan and the crew were really friendly and helpful and the kids loved seeing the animals. There was live music which stopped at a respectable hour and although there were lots of people camping, it was quiet at night. We had a lovely time and enjoyed the basic nature of the place and friendly crew.

Swag Sites (Unpowered)

Outstanding Camping

It felt a bit cramped due to Easter but otherwise no cons. Fantastic area for kids. Our daughter just loved the water activities. She was mostly there. The facilities are well maintained. The toilets were always clean or attended promptly by the team. Would visit again during some quite time.

Hidden Camp - UNPOWERED Sites

We will be back!

Our group of 12 stayed for 3 nights, we hardly saw our older kids throughout the day as they spent almost all their time in the dam or with the animals. Fellow campers were friendly and Callum, his wife, children and their workers were lovely. Highly recommended!

Hidden Camp - UNPOWERED Sites

Great camping ground. Dog friendly (on lead) and the kids had a ball. Heaps of fun on the tree swing, flying fox and riding their bikes around. Dam was beautiful and clean. There’s a creek the runs through it so it’s kept nice and fresh. Great lot of activities over Easter.
