Glenlyon Dam View from the Top, Queensland
on 2 responses
Glenlyon Dam View from the top Campsite is on the edge of the start of Glenlyon Dam was once a part of the Historic Glenlyon Station. The Dam split the property in 1974 and our farm - named Tilba Tilba - place of many waters is now a Rare Breeds Farm with 7 breeds of sheep plus milking goats, alpacas, pigs, shorthorn cattle and poultry. When the dam is 50% full you can go water skiing - we have our own boat ramp, but less than 50% then it is really just Pikes creek. A beautiful peaceful place with abundant wildlife on the dam and 2 resident emus often seen wandering around.
