The Great Divide
This was our second stay at Bushland Hideaway by the River. Choosing The Great Divide for our recent stay was an amazing choice. There is plenty of shady trees, and sunny areas to recharge your solar. The grounds are very well maintained and you get the luxury of bush camping with a porta loo provided that is clean and stocked with toilet paper. Anne & Phil are amazing hosts. They greet you at the gate and show you around, and then give you your privacy to enjoy your stay. We cannot recommend this camp site enough. If you like peace, quiet, privacy, river swims, fishing, and the space to unwind from the daily grind then this place is perfect. When next visiting the area, we will definitely be booking again.

I had a beautiful overnight stay at Glenarbon at Phil and Annes place. They met me at the main gate and drove me to the campsite - a cleared flat site right next to the river with an adjacent portaloo. There were some other campers a little further along the river who like me, kept to themselves and were quiet. I swam in the river and had a quiet restful nights sleep before getting up the next morning, having another swim and heading on my way. (I was travelling from QLD to SA) I am really grateful for property owners like Phil and Anne for making their property available for the public to camp on. The camp spot was clean, felt really safe - particularly as I am a woman travelling solo, and the owners were readily contactable.

We had a great stay Phil & Anne were very friendly . Our site was very spacious as we shared with family had booked two site but only needed the one . Toilets kept clean and tidy . Would recommend the stay.

Great proper Country Stay

Stones Corner
We had a great 6 day stay at Stones Corner, a proper country stay. The sites were huge we had 2 Ute's a camper and 2 swags still had a heap of room to move out of each others way. The toilets were clean and well kept and nearly one to a site. The river views from our site were great and nothing better to cool off in the afternoon with a swim. The boys loved feeding the fish bait daily but only pulled 1 Carp out. The fact that Phil & Anne let you drive the full length of the river inside their property is great. Thanks for an awesome stay Phil & Anne we will be back. Ps with only an hour to Gundy or 40 min to Texas it’s an easy explore to get supplies if you run out.

My husband and son had THE best time here. We are looking to book for Easter and bring friends. The owners were lovely and had advice about the local area and great spots to visit. The campsite was so well kept, close to the river with a nice toilet and easy access to the weir nearby. Such a picturesque spot. We will definitely be back together and have already been showing our friends and starting to plan the next trip.

Site 1 - Island View
Phil and Anne are the perfect hosts. This spot (all the camping areas) offer a serene, safe, tranquil environment. Even caught fish! Had the dogs with us and they just loved it. The water was perfect. Taking the grandchildren next trip. Highly recommend.

What a magic spot. Anne met us and led us to a beautiful camp directly on the river bank. Kayaks to use were available so we spent the afternoon heading up and down the river, fishing and relaxing. There were some toilets available and fire pit. Camp spots spread out. All as described but probably even better in person!

Absolutely loved our stay! The campsite was clean, well organised, beautifully maintained and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Facilities were spotless and Phil & Anne were such welcoming hosts. There’s plenty of space between other campsites, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. We’ll definitely be back!

Site 1 - Island View
What an amazing and tranquil spot right on the Dumaresq River, next to the Glenarbon Weir, right on the border of NSW and Qld. Phil and Anne have an amazing property and are fantastic hosts! Didn't have any luck with the fishing ... but we are the worst fishing people of all time ;) We only stayed one night this time, but we will be back again soon and will stay longer next time!

What can we say but another excellent stay. The camp area was very well presented with the site well mowed and marked out. The ladies loved the porta loos which were clean and in great condition. The river didn’t let us boys down with plenty of shrimp for gait and fish biting well. We highly recommend this camp site and Phil and Anne are fantastic hosts.

Well what a hidden gem this place is. The camp site was so quiet. Beautiful. So green and well maintained. The toilets were kept so clean and fresh and there were so many. Phil and Anne were so amazing, friendly and helpful. They provided us with firewood for our stay. We could take our little snag dog for the stay as well. Wildlife everywhere to look at. Got some great fishing in as well. Caught a nice 64cm cod right in front of our campsite which was released. The road in was all weather so no problem for any vehicle to get around the place. You can easily take your caravan or camper trailer with no issue at all. We had the place to ourselves for most of the stay and we even booked an extra 2 nights to stay for the 7 nights. We will be returning when we next get a break. Highly recommend to anybody! Thanks guys for everything.
