Gateway to the South Branch off Emu Creek with the site off the Lincoln Wreck nearby. Sadly a resting place of 6 people. 1955, Mt Superbus. Highest peak in south east QLD. This is a Historic Area it should be respected and enjoyed by all. Border Main Range National Park. Emu Creek Valley 20 km. Which places you close access to many park walks include 2km from the start of the Lincoln Bomber Walk. Or walk to the STEAMERS. Prow Funnel Mast Stern. Spring and Bellbird Walk on Broangus, commanding views of surrounding peaks. Our property offers three camping areas. Creek Flat, Paddock Areas. and Prow View. Fire pits at all sites and SOME complimentary wood supplied. Can purchase more at the property $10 per bag or 1/4 trailer for $25. Cracking camp areas prior to or after walks. Or just kick back with family and friends put a camp oven on relax and enjoy the mountain air. Camper trailers Caravan welcome. Recommend off-road or four-wheel-drive, on road vans can access but need to take it very slowly as there’s four water crossings with gravel and small rocks. SUV or 4X4 Access only 4 water crossing 15km of Dirt

The perfect camping spot 😀
Broangus was such a a beautiful place to visit and camp. The sites are spacious and clean with toilets and showers close by. Jacqui was a fantastic host, so laid back and happy to share her land with everyone. Plenty of space to have a game of cricket. We went end of March which was perfect, the sunsets are gorgeous, the views were stunning. We had a creekside site (#2 is one of the best), listening to the rapids was so peaceful and calming. Fire wood is available for purchase, and there is whifi if you need it but seriously don't this place is beautiful 😍. There are creek crossings to get to the property, we had a 4WD and an SUV (Renault Koleos) which crossed fine, just take your time and don't stop! If you're considering booking Broangus, do it! Thanks to Jacqui for having us, we'll be back for sure ⭐

Creek & Fire... Family Fun
We had a lovely time for our short stay. Weather was threatening rain day 1... was like living in a cloud on the mountain. Days 2 and 3 were divine. Patchy cloud and sunshine, the site by the creek stays cool in the shade during the day. Lovely to sit by the camp fire and creek. Dog had a blast off leash, no issues with him (although we did have to spend some time removing the various sticky seeds/prickles from his hairy coat after exploring the bush walks). We'll be back someday! Hopefully sooner, rather than later.
