Welcome to 'Bares Hideaway', a 43 acre property nestled away from prying eyes in a secluded valley along the Liverpool Ranges in Grandchester. We are a short 1 hr drive from Brisbane and Toowoomba surrounded by acres of bushland. We are a 10 minute drive from Rosewood and Laidley where you will find cafes, supermarkets, fuel and a variety of other things to enjoy. Our lovely campground will accommodate swags, tents, campers, caravans and motorhomes. We provide an extensive camping ground which ensures that you will have a large amount of space to set up comfortably. Flushing toilets and hot showers are provided. We offer you the choice of a standard enclosed private shower or the fun of open air showers. We are happy for you to come and camp on your own or book the entire place if you have an event, large groups are welcome. There is a designated area that can be hired for parties and private functions with marquees available if required. If you are looking for clothing optional or nude camping we fully welcome you to do so. However we need to know at the time of booking so we can allocate an appropriate location so all campers are comfortable. Pets are welcome and must be under control and on a leash as there are farm animals kept on this property. Camp fires are permitted in communal fire areas or at your camp in provided fire drums. The only exception will be if a local fire ban is activated. You are welcome to bring your own firewood, or you can collect it off the ground. No chainsaws allowed. Please note that there is no potable water on site. You must bring your own DRINKING water. During extreme weather events the property can be affected, so if rain is forecast, please call before heading out. Paul and Tracy’s place was awesome, even over the Easter weekend it didn’t feel too crowded. Toilets and showers were amazing. The roaming goats, trips to feed the pigs on the back of Paul’s tractor trailer, supplied 3 ply toilet paper, rubbish removal and free firewood were just some of the perks! We will be back

Beautiful spot with 5 stars bush fa
Beautiful bush spot so close to Brisbane! Unbelievable. Lots of open spaces. Sites have flushing toilets and hot showers. Dog friendly too. It is like a camper's dream come true. We came during the Easter long weekend but still spacious enough. Highly recommended but yet do not want the whole world to know ..... Will definitely camp here again.

Bares Hideaway
A lovely spot, not over crowded for an Easter weekend, the hosts are helpful, friendly and went out of their way to make sure all the kids got to experience the farm animals, rides on 4 wheelers, putting on a movie. The amenities were great, the only thing I would mention is the grass was very long in our camping area which was a bit of worry with snakes about and not being able to spot them. Other than that it was great.

Paul and Tracy were amazing hosts! Made us feel right at home, kids loved the tractor ride to feed the pigs and were obsessed with Benjamin the goat. Campsite is lovely we was right next to the creek where the kids had a swim, lots of spaces to choose where to set up. Utilities are great, clean and fresh. Thank you for letting us stay at your amazing home we will definitely be returning 😊
