La Cabine Luciole est une cabane patrimoniale en érable à sucre construite à la fin des années 1800. Il est situé dans une ancienne forêt d'érables moussue avec d'imposants érables majestueux. Il est construit sur une ligne tellurique par des colons irlandais (Erin), ce qui lui confère une puissante énergie pour se régénérer. Vous pouvez également parcourir le labyrinthe crétois, pour rétablir l'équilibre. La cabine cathédrale au toit de tôle a suffisamment d'espace pour manger, se divertir et faire du yoga, elle dispose également d'une mezzanine pour 2 personnes et peut être utilisée comme coin de lecture, apportez vos propres sacs de couchage, oreillers et serviettes et vous êtes invités à vous installer. monter une tente sur le camping extérieur. Il y a une douche chauffée à pleine pression, des toilettes à compost, un évier extérieur et une station de cuisson. Le site est réservé pour une intimité totale, une seule réservation de groupe à la fois, vous disposez donc de votre propre espace privé dans les bois. Il y a une cheminée dans la cabane avec beaucoup de bois. Le sol est principalement constitué de tremplins naturels, cueillis à la main dans les bois. La cabane est nichée dans une forêt magique de mousse et de fougères avec des lucioles, des hiboux, des cerfs et des renards. Il y a des sentiers de randonnée paisibles et entretenus. Un foyer extérieur de cuisine en forme de sphère sous des lampes solaires lucioles ajoute à l’expérience magique. Cabine Luciole is a heritage Sugar Maple Cabin built in the late 1800's. It is located in an mossy, old growth maple forest with towering majestic maple trees. It is built on a leyline by Irish (Erin) settlers, giving it powerful energy to rejuvinate. You can also walk the cretan labyrinth, to bring balance. The catherdral tin roof cabin has enough space for dinning, entertaining and yoga, it also has a sleeping loft for 2 people, and can be used as a reading nook, bring your own sleeping bags, pillows, and towels and you are welcome to set up a tent on the outdoor camping site. There is a heated full pressure shower, compost toilet and an outdoor sink and cooking station. The site is booked for complete privacy, only one group booking at a time, so you have your own private spot in the woods. There is a fireplace in the cabin with plenty of wood. The floor is mostly nature stepping stones, hand picked from the woods. The cabin is nestled in a moss and fern magical woods with fireflies, owls, deer, and foxes. There are groomed peaceful walking trails. A sphere shaped cooking outdoor fireplace under firefly solar lights adds to the magical experience. There are wonderful activates such as fishing, kayaking (Safari Kayak) and bike trails in the local area. Go back in time and experience the rare wisdom of the sugar maple trees that are over 150 feet tall. You will never want to leave, come back and see the trees colourful splendor in the fall and in early spring we plan to have hands on maple syrup making.

The site boasts four sites: Riverfront 1, Riverside 2, Bayside 3, Bayfront 4, all of which overlook the tranquil and lovely Chateauguay River. We have a small white sandy beach that access to the old dam to provide our guest access to the river with a never-ending melody of peaceful water. Overview

About

To permit the French army offensive against the Iroquois nations and to put an end to their attacks, a series of forts was built in 1665 and 1666 at the most strategic spots along the Richelieu River. This set the context for the building of Fort Sainte-Thérèse. However, once a peace treaty was signed, Fort Sainte-Thérèse was abandoned. It would be rebuilt during the Austrian War of Succession in 1747. After being put to flames by the enemy in June 1760, the fort was immediately rebuilt by the French army. In August 1760, to avoid the fort’s capture by British troops, it was burnt down by the French army. It would never be rebuilt after that.
