The Pond, Pennsylvania

The Pond was once part of the farm to the east where my father was born and raised. It's been in my family s long as I can remember and I'd like to share camping experiences here with others. Just a few miles away was the site of the Battle of Buffalo Creek which was between the Native Americans who lived here and settlers who were trying to settle this land. The rocks in the stream and along the fence row are an excellent source of fossils.
