Where else can you find sun, sand, wildlife and water sports all within city limits? Camping at Devil's Lake State Park, that's where.
Located in the heart of Lincoln City, Devil's Lake is a hub of summer fun for both locals and tourists alike. Oregon’s beaches get foggy and breezy in the summer. Devil's Lake is just a quick drive from the ocean but it makes all the difference. Here you’ll find calm, warm waters instead of the choppy, cold Pacific.
Launch your boat from the Regatta Grounds, the most popular area and great for families. Watercraft rentals are available. If you're looking for more solitude, try one of the smaller boat ramps. We recommend East Devils Lake Recreation area for its Douglas Firs and Sand Point Park for its beach. Bonus: A quick hike down to D River State Recreation area leads back to the ocean in case that marine layer burns off.
Devil's Lake Campground features 28 full-hookup sites, 54 tent sites, and 10 yurts. If you're thinking about bringing your four-legged friend, 5 of the yurts are pet-friendly. This State Park makes a perfect spot for your family's first camping trip.
Kids can enjoy a day of exploring nature trails and still have time to run into town and grab an ice cream cone. Close enough to modern conveniences but just far enough away to enjoy nature's beauty. Devil's Lake is a camper's heaven.
